As our Lodge year begins to wind down, it has been marked with many milestones and accomplishments. However, the Lodge realizes that we still have ample room for growth to give units the support they deserve. Considering this I tasked my Vice Chief of Admin and Unit Relations Chair to search for a way to better serve our Units and the Northwest Georgia Council. Almost instantaneously we saw a need to increase our communication with the troops throughout the council. With the coming changes in 2019, this need will expand to other parts of our council including Crews. In light of this, the lodge will be working to give you, our OA Unit Representatives, the tools and information you need to stay up to date on all things Waguli and scouting, but we need your help because we will be working to enhance the OA Unit Rep Program and ultimately every scout in our Council. The lodge is excited to announce Waguli OA Rep Bulletins called the “The Arrowhead”. The Arrowhead Bulletins will be a new resource and will have concise accurate information, so that OA Reps can effectively act as the link from the lodge to your unit. The Arrowhead Bulletins will be easily printed and formatted to make communication to the scouts very easy. It will be up to the OA reps and Units to take advantage of these fantastic resources. These Resources will come out bi-monthly on the 1st and the 15th, and they will be posted through the website (waguli.com), so that OA Reps have easy access to them. In addition, the lodge plans to continue its growth of the OA Unit Rep program in a variety of ways including: having OA unit reps participate in other troop unit elections, providing a prestigious OA Rep award, and much more. 2019 is going to be an exciting year for the OA Unit Rep Program in Waguli. I hope that you Join us in this initiative and I respectfully ask the following:
