![]() This year OA tactical will continue as an OA service crew for zombie o, but it will hold an even more exiting twist than every before. November 2-4 OAT will serve on Zombie O RedNite. OAT will have varying Responsibilities, but all are sure to be a blast. Do you want to be on OAT? Requirements: - Be an Active OA Member - Attend Fall Fellowship and the OAT Training Class - Been to at least one lodge event within the past year - Sign up for OAT on the Northwest Georgia Council Website ![]() As many of you know Samuel Pankey is joining the United States Air Force. Samuel has been a tremendous asset to the lodge, and has served in a variety of positions including, Lodge Secretary, Vice Chief of Administration, and is currently the Vigil Committee Chairman. He is also an Eagle Scout and a Vigil Honor member, and during all of his terms, he has served with diligence and commitment. I personally would like to take a moment and wish him the best as he seeks out a new part of his journey, but on behalf the Lodge I would like to thank him for his future of service. I have no doubt that Samuel will be a great asset for the United States air force, and will have an exceptional future serving his country
Sumer Camp has officially started, will you be there? This year, camp Sidney Dew will have an amazing program becuase for the first time every CSD has introduced action afternoons, where scouts can roam about and find a variety of amazing activities such as; paddle boarding, mountain boarding, and a variety of amazing activities that will be favorite for every scout. In addition, Waguli will also have an increased presence at this year summer camp, and for the second year in a row we will continue Waguli Watermelon Wednesday which was an incredible success that scout is sure to enjoy. This year we will be selling amazing Waguli Watermelon Wednesday flaps that will be available to all Arrowmen at the founders ring. Tap-out will also be held every Friday to select those chosen by thier fellow peers that they are the best of scouting.
Heartland Gathering was a blast, with over 50 Waguli Arrowmen in attendance, the lodge was well represented. This year, Coosa lodge held a fantastic Heartland Gathering at camp comer, and every Arrowmen enjoyed fun and fellowship with other lodges from across section SR-9. Section SR-9 also offered several unique and amazing opportunities for Lodges to compete; including, quest games, drum and dance competition, ceremonies competition, and administrative events for the lodges to compete head to head against each other. This year Waguli took home the gold in multiple events throughout the section, and had invigorating spirt while doing so. In combination with the amazing event, great food, and an amazing spirt from Waguli, Heartland Gathering was an experience that no one should miss.
